After the sad and untimely passing of musical icon, Prince, his hometown of Minneapolis was awash in purple. From the new US Bank Stadium to the IDS and Capella towers, the Guthrie Theater and the 35W bridge, purple reigned supreme.
Prince died today (April 21, 2016). Even the sky turned purple. Numerous bridges and buildings were also lit in his honor.
To honor the untimely passing of Minneapolis music icon, Prince, the 35W bridge over the Mississippi river and numerous downtown buildings were lit in purple on the night of April 21, 2016.
